Trois Mouline Sauvignon is made by the respected Bordeaux trader Anthony Sarjeant in conjunction with D&C Bordeaux. The wine is made by carefully selecting and blending grapes that all come from the Entre-deux-mers region of Bordeaux.
That is the secret of Trois Mouline Sauvignon. Rather than being stuck with with the grapes from only one vineyard they are able to select and blend from the very best that come from all over the region.
This family made wine has 34 vintages and is 100% sauvignon in style and grape variety, with that wonderful zingy, fresh, crisp style you find in the Loire but with some added weight and fruit with the grapes from the Bordeaux region. Not just another tank fermented wine… its longevity is testament to its popularity!
Very pale lemon coloured with a nose of citrus fruits, and grassy fruits. The palate is medium bodied and elegant, with lemon and lime flavours married to gooseberry and a good weighty mouth feel. The finish is well rounded, crisp and dry.
