A bold, intense pink colour that falls in the deeper pink spectrum.
The perfect expression of Provence. A refreshing and highly- expressive wine. A beautifully textured wine that lends body and intensity to the colour and nose. Dry in the finish with flavours of fresh strawberry, Provençal lavender and picked basil. A perfect food wine.
Classic Provence. Floral, clean, fresh berries first then followed by fresh herbs and flowers–like walking through a Provence lavender field on an early summer morning.
The harmony of bright acidity, rich texture and dry finish show the completeness of this wine. Creamy strawberry notes upfront and lingering flavours of fresh basil, thyme, lavender.
The estate lies on the Via Aurelia- a former Roman road linking Italy and Spain. The Romans settled here in 2nd century BC. The Berne Wine Estate was created in 1750. Château de Berne consists of 350 acres of vines, sheltered by 1,600 acres of forests and nourished by the Berne river.
The vines are grown in harmony with nature to preserve biodiversity and foster wines expressing this distinctive area of Provence. The vineyard will be fully-organic in 2021.
