Pale yellow bright colour with some green lights. The nose is an intense association of citrus (grapefruit and orange zest) and tropical fruits with a light floral note. The sensation on the palate is very pleasing with a good balance between liveliness of this wine compared with its volume and roundness of the flavours associated with Sauvignon (we find again the notes of grapefruit and candied lemon-peel on the finish).
The Lurton family is one of the famous names from Bordeaux. They have produced wine for 6 generations and have operations in Chile, Argentina, Portugal, Spain and France. François Lurton has produced Les Fumees Blanche for 17 years. The grapes that make up this wine are selected from vineyards mainly in the Languedoc, Gers, Tarn and Charentes regions. All the plots are managed according to a range of criteria: wine growing techniques, maturity, tasting. The latter plays a decisive role in the choice of winemaking methods, which are adapted to the specific characterisitics of the grapes obtained.
