Appearance: a wine showing considerable depth of colour with certain violet hues now giving way to shades of red. It is a very bright cherry colour, brilliant, clean with very intense ruby-red glints.
On the nose: the characteristic green pepper smell associated with Cabernet Sauvignon can be detected. Definite vanilla and toast aromas from the wood come through.
On the palate: a smooth, flavourful, pleasant wine: in the mouth it is clean and clear of defect, without any edges. A well balanced wine with smooth tannins. It reveals flavours of toast and vanilla with a long finish.
